Lots of things happen at St John's each and every week. Here's the overview of weekly happenings.
Pastor Clark teaches an adult Bible Class in the Fellowship Hall beneath the sanctuary.
Pastor Ryan leads a men’s LIFE Group during the Education Hour.
Stacy Rutten facilitates a group for Sunday School moms.
Check the announcements or LIFE Groups page for other rotating offerings.
Sunday School runs from the Sunday after Labor Day through early May from 9:15 – 10:15 am. Preschool – 3rd grade starts out for an opening in the Family Life Center with Ms Kelly, then they go to their small groups. 5th – 12th grades go straight to their rooms.
Most of our LIFE Groups meet weekly. Typically there are 5 – 7 groups going at any given time. Don’t do life alone. Life is better together!
Senior High Youth Group for 9th – 12th graders meets weekly during the school year on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8 pm. (Except during Lent when they are busy serving meals from 4:30-6pm.)
St. John’s Worship Choir meets on Thursday evenings at 5:45pm during the school year. Gospel Ringers handbell choir meets after choir. Talk to Penny Steele or contact the church office for more info.
Join the sewing group on Tuesdays to sew or one or many other crafts! Some arrive as early as 10am and bring lunch along. A few generally are there until 4ish. There’s plenty of yarn for knitting or crocheting as well as a rug weaving frame. Come learn and laugh and CREATE!
CBS has Bible studies for all age groups and stages of life, from classes for toddlers and teens to classes for adults who are single and married. Together we explore the Bible and what it tells us about the God who has woven His story through history and is present with us now.
This year the group is studying the Red Sea to the Jordan River.
