Pastor Ryan first came to St. John’s on a one-year internship through Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 2014.  After he completed his degree and internship, St. John’s called him to be Director of Youth Ministries. He has made a positive impact on our youth through his humor, teaching, love for sports, and Bible knowledge.  In 2020, St. John’s called Pastor Ryan to to become a pastor through the SMP program through Concordia Seminary St. Louis.  Pastor Ryan, his wife, Catherine, and their son Nathan, live in Buffalo.

His favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
