Christmas Eve Family Services

Are you looking for a Christmas Eve Service where you kids don’t have to be quiet and still for an hour?  Better yet, where they might get to interact and participate in parts of the service?  Then you’re looking for St. John’s Christmas Eve Family Service.  Help your whole family connect with the Nativity Story on Christmas Eve at 3 or 5pm where Kelly Thole will bring the account of Jesus’ birth to life in a way that helps folks of all ages celebrate.  See you there!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

FAQ

Questions you might have

Where do I park & enter?

Worship Services on  Christmas Eve & Christmas Day will be held in the sanctuary.  You can park in the north lot and enter through Door 1 or pull around by Door 2 for accessible entrance and parking.

What does "Family Service" mean? Are kids welcome at other services?

Family Services on Christmas Eve are geared for families with children.  There will be interactive elements of the service and some of the music will be geared towards these younger attenders.  The full Christmas message will be presented at each and every service, including these! All ages are welcome!

Children are always welcome at ALL of our services!  We have some special things available in case they need help during a service, such as our Little Lutherans bags with activities to busy their hands, or the large TV in the east narthex which is playing the service, but allows little ones to move around and not worry about their voices.

We hope you and your children will feel welcome and comfortable at St. John’s.  If we can help in any way, don’t hesitate to ask a greeter or an usher.
