Calling all Volunteers! We can’t take this adventure without your help! From donations, to registration, to teaching and crew leaders, there are many places for you to be a part of this adventure. See below for ways you can help make our 2024 VBS a success!
Opportunities Before VBS
VBS Decor Days
When: 2-3 opportunities before VBS
Time: Day/Evening/ Weekend (Depending on volunteers schedules)
What: Volunteers will gather together to assemble, create and craft items that will help decorate our hallways, stage and stations. If you are looking for a short commitment that makes a lot of impact this is it. No creative bone necessary.
Who: Adults / Teens/ Families

Assembly Army:
When: 2-3 opportunities before VBS
Time: Can be done in person or at home.
What: There are always a lot of little things that need to be assembled. packed and prepped for over 200 participants and volunteers for VBS. This opportunity may include assembling kits, key chains, cutting out posters etc. Volunteers who sign up for this opportunity will be contacted once assembly is required:)

Set Up Week:
When: July 21st-26th
Time: Till its complete :)
What: This week before VBS its all hands on deck. From the final decorating, setting up station supplies, moving tables and chairs, hanging posters and more.
Who: Adults / Teens/ Families
Opportunities During VBS Week
Check In Crew:
When: July 29th- Aug 1st 8:30am-9:00am
What: Greet kids and families each morning, help they check in each day and help them navigate the where to go and what crew they are in.

Preschool Station Leader:
When: July 29th- Aug 1st 8:30am-11:30am
What: Because Preschool tends to be our busiest group, we hope to create their own set of stations this year. Instead of leading independent, isolated classes, Station Leaders see all the kids each day. There are seven different stations and kids will visit each one every day. Each station features a different Bible learning activity to meet the needs of different kinds of learners.

Crew Leader:
When: July 29th- Aug 1st 8:30am-11:30am
Who: 5th grade thru adults
What: Throughout the week kids travel in small groups to stations with their crews and leader. Crew leaders are not teachers! They’re simply part of the Crew family. They participate in all the activities and encourage kids to talk about and apply what they are learning. Love kids, but hate to teach? This is the place for you.

When: July 29th- Aug 1st 8:30am-11:30am
Who: 5th grade thru adults
What: Instead of leading independent, isolated classes, Station Leaders see all the kids each day. There are seven different stations and kids will visit each one every day. Each station features a different Bible learning activity to meet the needs of different kinds of learners. Teachers will be in pairs for each station.
Opportunities End of VBS
Last Day Lunch:
When: Aug 1st 10:30-11:30am
What: As our outreach to families, we provide a free hotdog lunch on the last day of VBS. Volunteers are asked to help prepare, set up and serve the meal after the closing service on Thursday morning.

Clean Up Crew:
When: Aug 1st 11:30am
Who: 5th grade thru adults
What: It may takes days to set up but it all come down in minutes and even faster with more help. Volunteers will help gather decor, poster and supplies from classrooms and also help reset out classrooms, FLC.
